Pot Luck

The opening lap of the 1957 Monaco Grand Prix. Driving the Ferrari 801, Peter Collins chases Fangio and Stirling Moss into the famous Casino Square. Moss driving the Vanwall, took the lead from Fangio on the first lap at St Devote, Collins moving up to 2nd on lap 2. However, on lap 4, Moss over shot the chicane, not only taking himself out of the race, but the Ferraris of Collins and Mike Hawthorn! This left the great Juan Manuel Fangio to control a superb race in his beloved Maserati 250F.
