The unsilenced fury of 20 cylinders reverberates off the walls of the buildings in the normally sleepy village of Campofelice during the 1967 Targa Florio. For all its race-bred spine tingling noise, the V12 Scuderia Filipinetti Ferrari P3/412P of Guichet and Muller will ultimately pursue the Ford France GT40 of Greder and Giorgio in vain. The Ferrari was forced to retire with differential trouble while the Ford went on to finish 5th.
