The legendary Porsche 917 driven by Jo Siffert and Brian Redman exits the esses in the 1970 Le mans 24 hours. The car was running well until the engine blew following a missed gear change by Siffert. This car was the basis for the famous feature film of Steve McQueen’s ‘Le Mans’.
